Cheng Zhe (b. 1985, Heilongjiang, China) is a contemporary artist living and working in Qingdao, Shandong. Raised under the artistic guidance of his father, he developed an early, instinctual connection to painting that has shaped his lifelong practice.
Deeply attuned to his surroundings, Cheng’s work continuously evolves in response to both his inner world and the subtle shifts of global contemporary life. His recent series captures these subtle global dynamics, while the presence of his daughter brings a quiet, grounded tenderness to his canvas, serving as an enduring source of inspiration.
Central to Cheng’s oeuvre is the recurring image of the “Little Girl”—a symbol of love, empathy, and innocence. Rendered through luminous colors and soft, atmospheric brushwork, his figures evoke the quiet wonder of childhood. Yet, far from mere sentimentality, this gentle visual language offers a thoughtful reflection on the mood of our time, anchored by the profound devotion of a father.
Cheng Zhe has presented several solo exhibitions with Yidi Art in Hong Kong, including Simple Gifts (2022), One Flower, One World (2023), and Tomorrow’s Promises (2024). Internationally, he held the solo exhibition Unforgettable Moments at Yotomy Art Gallery in Duisburg, Germany (2022). In October 2024, he was featured in En voyage with Masters, a pop-up collaboration between Yidi Art and Harvey Nichols Hong Kong, followed by his solo project An Everlasting Bloom at Harvey Nichols in January 2026.
In 2025, Cheng made his debut at the ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair with the solo presentation The Essence of Exploration. His work has also been featured in international group shows, including presentations at Maddox Gallery (London, 2022), Gallery Afternoon (Seoul, 2022), and Seefood Room Gallery (Hong Kong, 2023).
成哲（1985年生于中国黑龙江）是一位中国当代艺术家，目前生活并工作于山东青岛。从小被父亲的影响环境下学习绘画艺术。
成哲的创作深受其生活环境的影响，作品在风格与内容上持续演变。近年来，他不断探索多种媒介与技法，拓展自身的艺术语言。其近期系列作品亦受到全球局势变动的启发，同时，他的女儿为其创作带来情感上的温柔与力量，成为重要的灵感来源。 「小女孩」是成哲作品中反覆出现的重要形象，象征他所传递的爱、善意与关怀。他以丰富的色彩与柔和的笔触描绘童真的多重面貌，并借此亲切而富有感染力的视觉语言，延伸至对社会与时代情绪的细腻回应，亦体现出作为父亲的深厚情感。
成哲在香港一地艺术的个展包括：2022年《简单的礼物》、2023年《一花一世界》，以及2024年《明日的应许》。其他个展包括2022年于德国杜伊斯堡Yotomy艺术画廊举办的《Unforgettable Moments》。 2024年10月，他参与一地艺术与香港Harvey Nichols合作的快闪展览《与大师同行》，展览反响热烈。 2026年1月，他再次于Harvey Nichols举办个展项目《永恒绽放》，延续其标志性的视觉语言，展览获得藏家与公众的广泛关注与积极回应。
2025年，成哲首次亮相上海ART021艺术博览会，呈现个展项目《探索精华游》，获得良好反响。他亦曾参与多个国际群展，包括2022年伦敦Maddox画廊、2022年首尔Gallery Afternoon，以及2023年香港Seefood Room Gallery的展览。
